SALES CONDITIONS FOR CONCLUDING A CONTRACT WITH RITCHEY

The Ritchey EU On-line Shop is operated by Ritchey International Sagl, Via Maspoli 21, Mendrisio, Switzerland.

Through your on-line order confirmation, you submit a binding offer to conclude a contract with Ritchey. The purchase contract is caused by Ritchey accepting your purchase offer by the dispatch of the goods. The automatic confirmation e-mail, after the receipt of your order, does not constitute an acceptance by Ritchey; it only confirms that Ritchey received your offer to purchase. Once the goods are dispatched the sales contract is confirmed.

You may only order products via the Website if you are at least 18 years of age and you are purchasing products as a consumer (which means that you are not purchasing products in the course of your trade, business, craft or profession).

These conditions of sale and any contract between us shall be in the English language only. A copy of your contract will not necessarily be stored by us and we recommend that you keep a hard copy of the relevant conditions of sale that apply to your order for your future reference.


PRICES

Prices listed on the on-line shop are in € (Euro) and already include VAT. The tax value is not displayed during the check-out process, but it will be visible on the invoice that you will receive by email after the goods are dispatched.

When you place your order with Ritchey, you agree to the price and terms indicated on the Ritchey website. Price differences related to future or past prices and promotions in our store or any other store are not refundable.

All prices and descriptions on this site are subject to change. We maintain no responsibility for inadvertent errors.

The images of products on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colors accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colors accurately reflects the color of the products. Your products may vary slightly from those images.


PAYMENT

All payments should be made in € (Euro).

We offer the following payment options: Credit card and PayPal. However, with every order we expressly reserve the right not to accept certain payment methods and to refer to other payment forms. Under no circumstances will we assume the costs of a payment transaction. 

Master card

Ritchey customers can pay by Mastercard credit cards. After the transaction is authorized by your bank your order will be shipped as soon as possible.

Visa card

Ritchey customers can pay by VISA and credit cards. After the transaction is authorized by your bank your order will be shipped as soon as possible.


SHIPPING

Ritchey EU On-line Shop only ships to Countries within the European Community using the Standard shipment of top-rated international couriers such as UPS and GLS.

The shipping costs depend on the value of the order and the respective country of destination.

Orders are usually shipped within 24 hours after receiving your confirmed order.

Once the order is shipped Ritchey will send you by email the invoice including shipping details, courier name and tracking number.

Delivery time depends on the country of destination and the courier performance, usually from 2 to 5 business days.


RIGHT TO CANCEL / RETURNS

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you have the right to change your mind and cancel your contract within 14 days after you receive, or someone you nominate receives, the products.

Return conditions:

  • Request of cancellation/return must be sent within 14 days from the date of reception of the goods
  • Goods need to be shipped back to Ritchey within 14 days from the request of cancellation/return date
  • Credit can only be issued if product is in new condition and in original packaging
  • Shipment cost back to Ritchey is on the customer’s account; shipment will be refunded only on orders sent in error or if the item is defective

Return instructions:

  • Print the return request document that you will receive by e-mail together with the invoice when the goods are shipped.
  • Check the lines of the products that you want to return
  • Write the date and sign the document
  • Send your request document through our contact form and then put it into the box

To return the goods we suggest using trackable postal services – Ritchey cannot be hold responsible for any lost packages.


FAULTY PRODUCTS AND STATUTORY WARRANTY

If you are a consumer, we are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with the contract. Nothing in these conditions of sale will affect your legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or defective (which may include a right to a refund and/or a right to repair or replacement). If you consider that any product we have supplied is faulty or mis-described, please notify us through our contact form. You must return such products to us in accordance with our return instructions.


APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Each contract for the purchase of products from us and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by Swiss law to the extent that it does not override any mandatory laws of the country in which you have your usual place of residence.

The provisions of the UN Sales Convention shall not apply.

In respect of any dispute or claim relating to a contract, you and We both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland, but nothing in this clause shall limit your legal rights to bring actions against us or to require proceedings to take place in the country in which you have your usual place of residence.
